Cynthia Nimerichter is the author of a weekly newspaper column titled Related by Marriage. The column appears in The Bulletin, a daily newspaper in Pennsylvania. The column deals with the little everyday things in the life of a middle-aged-crazed woman and her sweet but slightly befuddled husband. The humor and insight that she shares each week in the column has expanded to the realm of professional speaking. Cynthia has a juris doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law and spent most of her legal career as a successful Deputy District Attorney. Her passion was the prosecution of those charged with sexual assault on children.
Cynthia’s 20 year history of civic volunteerism includes service on the board of directors of several nonprofits, organization of countless fundraisers, and the stuffing of many an envelope.
She lives in Colorado Springs with her sweet but long-suffering husband Ted. They live 70 miles from in laws, children, and grandchildren—close but not too close!
